“Easy Does It”

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS
  • Variety of scenery including jungle, waterfalls and villages
  • Beautiful remote beach camping
  • A nice gentle warm up paddle
  • The perfect river for learning to whitewater kayak
  • Paddle from Pokhara to Chitwan National Park – Get OFF the bus!

This unique river passes through two beautiful and contrasting scenic areas offering a good variety of Nepal’s landscapes with local villages, terraced rice fields, waterfalls, suspension bridges, jungle rich with wildlife and a beautiful white sandy beach for camping under the stars. With fairly small water volume and a very pleasant warm water temperature the Lower Seti is the perfect river for a warm up paddle before conquering more challenging whitewater.  This is also where we host our famous Beginner Kayak Clinic, so if you’ve never paddled before – here’s your chance.  Finishing near the Chitwan National Park, this is a great way to get off the beaten track, and enjoy a refreshing alternative to the bus to get to one of Nepal’s most popular adventure travel destinations.

If you are a beginner paddler or seeking a nice gentle warm up to Himalayan whitewater, then the Lower Seti River is a beautiful place to start.
