“Short and Sweet”
Just 30 minutes from Pokhara’s lakeside, this white-water adventure delivers an action-packed rafting experience that’s short on time but big on excitement. In an hour and a half, you’ll tackle a series of non-stop class III–IV rapids surrounded by stunning views and sparkling Himalayan water.
The stretches are all pure fun — offering more thrills in 90 minutes than many multi-day expeditions. It’s no wonder it’s one of our team’s favourite quick-hit adventures. Our trips run twice daily, so you can easily fit this incredible experience in with all the other amazing things Pokhara has to offer.
If you are looking for the perfect little adrenaline fix, without the hassle of packing up & driving long distances – then look no further!
As always, seasons change and rivers rise and fall — but our half-day adventures keep flowing! We’ve designed a range of trips, so you can hit the water any time of year. Before your trip, your highly-trained guides will choose the best route for the day depending on the river conditions, to ensure maximum excitement, backed by world-class safety!
Upper Seti River
The Upper Seti is short, steep, and full of punch — a compact class III–IV run that delivers non-stop white-water from start to finish, surrounded by stunning Annapurna views, sparkling Himalayan water, and a beautiful gorge decorated with prayer flags and a suspension bridge. Best from September to early June, it’s the ultimate quick-hit rafting adventure in Pokhara — intense & beautiful
Middle Seti River
The Middle Seti River offers a slightly gentler ride through classic Nepali scenery — rolling class II–III rapids that wind past rice terraces, village life, and lush jungle-covered hills. It’s a journey perfect for families, first-timers, or those looking to soak in the beauty of the valley whilst experiencing the intensity of white-water rapids, delivering the perfect mix of fun, splash, and scenery. Flowing from the Annapurna foothills, it runs best from September to early June, meaning that we often raft this stretch when it is high water/ there is too much water in the Upper Seti.
Fushe Khola River
The Fushe Khola is raw, steep and technical- a short, intense class IV- V run that demands commitment and power! Hidden in a dramatic gorge just outside of Pokhara, it’s packed with continuous drops, tight lines and fast-moving water- a true challenge! Best tackled from October to May, we often run this stretch if there is too much water in both the Upper Seti & Middle Seti. This stretch is pure white-water adrenaline, offering one of Nepal’s most exciting short runs for those ready to step up their game.
